Though some browsers might still support it, it may have already been removed from the relevant web standards, may be in the process of being dropped, or may only be kept for compatibility purposes. The Document.createTouchList()
method creates and returns a new TouchList
object.
var list = document.createTouchList([touch1 [, touch2 [, ...]]]);
This example illustrates using the Document.createTouchList()
method to create TouchList
objects.
In following code snippet, some Touch
objects are created for the target
element and those touch points are then used to create some TouchList
objects.
var target = document.getElementById("target");
var touch1 = document.createTouch(window, target, 1, 15, 20, 35, 40);
var touch2 = document.createTouch(window, target, 2, 25, 30, 45, 50);
var list0 = document.createTouchList();
var list1 = document.createTouchList(touch1);
var list2 = document.createTouchList(touch1, touch2);
This feature is not part of any current specification. It is no longer on track to become a standard.
