numpy.char.encode

char. encode ( a, encoding=None, errors=None ) [source]

Calls str.encode element-wise.

a array_like of str or unicode

encoding str, optional

The name of an encoding

errors str, optional

Specifies how to handle encoding errors

out ndarray
