CSS background-position edge offsets

Allows CSS background images to be positioned relative to the specified edge using the 3 to 4 value syntax. For example: background-position: right 5px bottom 5px; for positioning 5px from the bottom-right corner.

Notes

Bugs

• Safari 8 has a bug with bottom-positioned values background-attachment: fixed;

• Transitions to background-position using edge offsets in Safari requires you to set edge offsets to zero if transitioning from no offset positions.
  E.g. for background-position: right bottom ; to background-position: right 5px bottom 5px;
  Safari requires background-position: right 0 bottom 0;
