Notes

1. Partial support refers to only working in frames/iframes (not other tabs/windows). Also, objects cannot be sent using postMessage.

2. Partial support refers to limitations in certain conditions.

Bugs

• Internet Explorer 8 and 9, and Firefox versions 6.0 and below only support strings as postMessage's message. References: https://dev.opera.com/articles/view/window-postmessage-messagechannel/#crossdoc, https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/DOM/window.postMessage

• IE8's events are triggered synchronously, which may lead to to unexpected results.

• Firefox 41 and below do not support sending File/Blob objects see bug
